A month-long demonstration in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Munich ended today(15th of March) with participation of Mr. Martin Patzelt, member of the Federal Parliament, Germany.

Mr. Enver Can, President of the Ilham Tohti Initiative (ITI) greeted Mr. Patzelt presenting him a traditional Uyghur hat (Doppa) for his work on human rights. The ITI has supported the rally purchasing some banners with photos of disappeared Uyghur intellectuals. The protest action called “Where is my Family“ was organized by the East Turkestan Union in Europe, the first established Uyghur diaspora organization in a Western country 30 years ago.
